Online Business Radio

Testimonials

Department of Agriculture and Food West Australia Nicole Witham

"Chris Brown did a great job of our Perennial Pastures CD. He made the project so easy to handle. All we had to do was send through a couple of pages of information from which he went off and worked from. Getting the job right is obviously important to him. He was very easy to work with; had a great sense of humor; was laid back and always delivered what he promised on time. In fact he was so good, we are about to get him to produce another CD for us."

 Grain and Graze

Grain and Graze is a recently completed collaboraion between three of Australia's major rural research and development corporations - GRDC, MLA and AWI. Online Business Radio produced a total of four audio CDs for the Grain and Graze Project that were distributed to farmers across Australia

Canegrowers Suzi Moore
"All we had to do was give the leads and the ‘feel’ of what our ‘Cane Talk’ audio CD was about, and the rest is history. The growers and business advisors enjoyed being themselves when recording the segments, finding the practical, no fuss interviewing style easy to respond to. The easy rapport developed with the interviewees translated directly into the finished product, which was enjoyed by sugarcane growers up and down the coast of Queensland. Online Business Radio made it easy to pull together an audio CD for the sugarcane industry. Ticks in all the boxes - and we look forward to working with Chris again soon on the next project."

Riverland Wine Development Corporation Tim Smythe

"Chris was able to cover the diverse range of topics we had assigned and the resultant interviews were indicative of the thorough preparation conducted. Like most agriculture sectors there are a great many challenges ahead for the Riverland wine industry and communication will be foremost as we look to manage a process of change. Our growers have very busy lifestyles and it’s in our interest to create a suite of communication tools to meet their needs. The service that Chris offered was excellent and allowed us the opportunity to explore an avenue of communication we may have otherwise overlooked."

 Grain and Graze
 Dr Richard Price
"They say case studies are only as good as the talent interviewed, but really, that’s just the starting point. Chris Brown can wrench a great story out of any talent through his ability to listen, pick up on the gems and follow through with intelligent questioning. The stories are inevitably appealing, often fascinating and quite often out of the ordinary."

Grains Research and Development Corporation

There are around 40,000 grain growers in Australia  and most of them like to get their information listening to the radio as they go about their daily routine. The idea for Online Business Radio's audio CD format came from that premise. The CDs are produced in a similar style to an ABC radio program - a format that is very comfortable for farmers. A total of 40,000 copies of this CD were produced and distributed.
Grains Research and Development Corporation

This was the first audio CD produced by Online Business Radio in the ABC radio style. 50,000 CDs were produced and distributed. The 2009 Driving Agronomy CD will be distributed to more than 54,000 people. GRDC also streams Online Business Radio audio programs on its website.

Online Business Radio CDs are full colour printed on the sleeve and disc. They come either individually shrink wrapped or with a wafer seal. At Online Business Radio we pride ourselves on three things:
  • the research we do to prepare for recording
  • the quality of the product we deliver our clients
  • the friendly no fuss process which makes it easy for our clients
 Horticulture Australia Limited

We have completed our second Horticulture Australia Limited CD. This one was produced in 2007 and distributed to 10,000 horticulturalists. It was so successful the 2008 edition has been distributed to 20,000 horticulturalists. Avocados Australia liked it so much they commissioned their own audio CD.
 Avocados Australia

And here it is! This CD was designed to deliver a number of  specific messages to avocado growers, including progress with the industry's new information sharing project, where the industry is heading with the growth of the food services sector and the importance of quality and presentation when it comes to capturing marketshare in the modern supermarket/grocers.
 Horticulture Australia

This is Horticulture Australia's 2008 Across Industry Program CD called Hort Radio. The client wanted to fit more onto the CD, so it features shorter than normal interviews (around 5 minutes) which meant we were able to fit around 15 stories onto the one CD. This CD has been distributed to 20,000 horticulturalists.

"Working with Chris Brown of Online Business Radio has been a complete pleasure. He has delivered programs of great quality and interest, both within budget and agreed timelines. This allowed us to deliver the resulting podcasts to our Members within a couple of days of our National Conference concluding, ensuring maximum impact for our audiences. We will no doubt work with Chris on future projects and I would have no hesitation in recommending Online Business Radio's services to others."
